Film Description:
"What are adolescents saying and doing about sex? To enlarge the discussion and to indicate some directions that bear examination, the film invites comments from Ann Landers, advice columnist, Mary Winspear, school principal, and Albert Ellis, psychotherapist. Between times appear Eric and Jenny, two seventeen-year-olds whose behavior illustrates what the discussion is all about."

Quote about The Merry-Go-Round

"The film is topped off by a virtuoso machine-gun montage where the three expert voices, both interdictory and sympathetic, literally cancel each other out. This demolition of the NFB voice-of-God expert voice-over—at long last—is the final signal not only of a new sexual morality but also of a shift in documentary modes."
