Film Description: "This is the fifth in a series of works called collectively, No Solution—A Suspense Thriller, and is based on the popular quest of the mystery thriller. Though no solution is offered, the work carries the viewer through the complexities of a disappearance and possible murder of a character called Sample Art Broom. Issues such as evidence and its meaning, context and its effect on perception, language as agent of both lies and truths, and the relation between image and word, silence and sound, and art and artifice are addressed. This may be shown as a single or two channel work. The Right Channel is a continuous, silent, black and white text, of equal duration. Left Channel (or stand alone alone channel) is the voice over narrative version." -- V tape (source) |
