Description du film [en anglais] : « An account of a rug-making cooperative organized by Sioux Indian women of the Standing Buffalo Reserve in the Qu'Appelle Valley of southern Saskatchewan. The Indians of this band are descended from a tribe that migrated from Minnesota during armed clashes a hundred years ago. The Sioux are noted for their distinctive, colourful designs. This film shows details of their handicraft. » -- National Film Board of Canada (source) |
