Film Description: "The first of three films intended to follow three families over a period of ten years. The three families have chosen to live in the country away from large urban centres. They have built their own homes. The film introduces these families, shows their backgrounds, why they chose to move into the countryside, why and how they built their particular homes and something of the way in which they live. [...] A title informs us that parts two and three will be filmed at the same location line and ten years hence." -- Library and Archives Canada (source) |
