Film Description: "Ten-year-old Yehuda is a radiant example of the Hassidic belief in the joy and celebration of prayer. With a head for stories and a heart for sharing them, he and his younger brother pore over old photographs of Jewish people in Poland. Living with his parents and ten brothers and sisters in West Jerusalem, old traditions and customs have been maintained as they prepare to celebrate the Sukkot festival. Yehuda visits a Jewish market and learns to select the right palm leaves to decorate the Sukkah hut. Yehuda is filled with pride as he describes the festival, his prayers, and his family." -- National Film Board of Canada
