Description du film [en anglais] : « Lilith on Top is a rocking concert film that celebrates the highly successful all-woman traveling music festival Lilith Fair. When Sarah McLachlan launched the tour in 1997, she set out to prove that an all-female line-up could be a hit. During its three-year run, Lilith Fair became one of the most successful multi-artist tours of the last decade. In Lilith's final year on the road, McLachlan collaborated with director Lynne Stopkewich to shoot a documentary that would capture this phenomenon and record its significance as both a celebration of women in music and a cultural event. Lilith on Top captures both the raw energy of the live performances and the intimacy of backstage shenanigans. » -- Liz Czach (source) |
